To this day, it takes a lot to rattle Andrew. He has a very low-key personality, but that certainly doesn’t mean he’s complacent. He enjoys making the most of every opportunity in life. Andrew still plays hockey regularly in a men’s league. It’s just one way he stays active, he’s always on the go. One of his biggest passions is scuba diving, which he learned to do on a trip to Australia. “It’s truly a different world underwater,” Andrew says. “It’s so peaceful when you are down there, and it requires a lot of concentration to be safe, so it’s a perfect sport for me.”
And though Andrew has a growing family and a busy professional life, he has become an avid volunteer. He is currently an Associate Captain of the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary unit TOWARF, and has volunteered on several committees within The Burlington Chamber of Commerce, with various Real Estate Board Committees, Condominium Boards, and the Burlington Sound of Music Festival. Andrew is a regular blood donor and currently organizes Blood Donations with Canadian Blood Services for several organizations. He has also volunteered as a coach with his old high school football team and with his daughter’s hockey organization. Andrew loves the opportunity to pass on his own knowledge and experience to a new generation of players. The principles Andrew teaches his players are the same as those he lives by. In turn, these values are what drive him in his career as a real estate professional.
